Clive Beaton

Clive is the owner of Celebrant Assist, programmer, and support man.  He has been in the computer industry for over 35 years, working for some of the largest companies in Queensland and internationally.  In the 1980's he founded a large software organisation, leaving in 1989 to work overseas.  He took over  Celebrant Assist in 2007.

Clive is a director of the Boonah Rotary Club, a director of the Boonah and District Cultural Foundation, and secretary of the Boonah Arts Collective which runs an 10 day arts festival each September and cultural events throughout the year, and a part time tutor in computers at the University of the Third Age.

Lesley Ball

Lesley is a retired school teacher, Clive's sister and co-owner of the 'factory'.  Lesley joined Celebrant Assist in February 2007, to put some organisation into the chaos and is responsible for the administration, and management of the bulletins, and newsletters.

Lesley is a keen birdwatcher, President of her local Field Naturalists Club, and National Coordinator of the Armchair Twitch, an Australia-wide annual bird watching event.  She's a regular volunteer at Hampton Visitors Information Centre, in the ranges just north of Toowoomba.

The Factory

Celebrant Assist is truly a cottage industry, run from this 100 year old cottage, which has been in the family for decades.

It nestles in the Fassifern Valley, just outside beautiful Boonah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, 100kms south west of Brisbane, one of the most picturesque areas of Queensland.

Boonah is the centre for the arts in the Scenic Rim with many artists, sculptors, and performers living and working in town and in the surrounding hills.  A great place to live and a great place to visit.
