How to Install Celebrant Assist on a new computer
This guide is to help you when you already use Celebrant Assist, but want to re-install it on another computer and retain your existing ceremony information. This could be to transfer Celebrant Assist to a new or repaired computer, or to use Celebrant Assist on two computers. It is a simple process of installing the software from your original media and copying the data file from one computer to the other.
First and most important; Celebrant Assist cannot be installed by copying a disc image from one computer to another. If you have tried to install Celebrant Assist in any other way than as described below, Uninstall it via Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. If Celebrant Assist does not appear in the list of installed programs, go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the Celebrant Assist folder.
1. Open Explorer or a folder window and drill down to the Folder C:\Program Files\Celebrant Assist\db, as below.

Remove the Shortcut to CelaUpdate from your desktop. Do not
remove 10. Start Celebrant Assist and all your ceremonies and registration data will be there. You can run Celebrant Assist on two computers, for example, a laptop for interviews and a PC for the office, by using this technique of transferring the data between the two computers, as required.
