How To Use Celebrant Assist on Two Computers

You can easily run Celebrant Assist on a laptop, so that you can use a laptop when you go out to interviews and use your desktop PC when you are at home.  It is a simple process of copying the data file between them, as required.

1. Install the Celebrant Assist programs on the laptop.   For more information see How To Move Celebrant Assist to a New Computer.

2. On your PC, open Explorer or a folder window and drill down to the Folder C:\Program Files\Celebrant Assist\db

3. Copy the data file, CELA.data.1.02.Cad on to your memory stick.

4.  Copy the file from your memory stick into the same folder on to laptop, as above, replacing the existing file.

5.  Start Celebrant Assist and all your ceremonies and registration data will be there.

Do not try to install or copy Celebrant Assist on to your laptop or new computer in any other way.  It probably won't work.
